What is a personal chef?
A personal chef is a culinary professional who provides a customized selection of several meals, which are cooked in the client’s home and then packaged and stored, so that the client may enjoy them at his or her leisure in the future. Unlike, a private chef that is employed by one individual or family full time, and often lives in, preparing up to three meals per day. A personal chef has multiple clients and cooks for each on prearranged days and times.

How long does it take?
I will be cooking several different entrées and side dishes from scratch, so it will take four to five hours depending on entrée selection. However, I will be willing to work with your schedule or situation, and make arrangements in advance, so that the cooking date fits into your schedule.
How are the meals stored?
All meals are freshly prepared and either all will be frozen immediately or if you would like I can refrigerate a few so you can use them the same day or next! Sometimes you will get what I call a fresh meal in the sense it needs to be cooked that day for freshness… normally this applies for fish or grill entrees. For the entrees I freeze, you simply move your entrees from the freezer to refrigerator the night before you plan to heat.
Can anyone afford it?
Of course you can afford it! Think about how much you already spend on groceries each week. Now, factor in the cost of eating out (gasoline, food, libations and the tip) and the cost of ordering in take-out or pizza. When you start to add all this up you'll find that it's actually a cost savings to hire I Have A Chef, L.L.C.. So, it makes perfect sense for the busy executive and power couples to have a personal chef but, it's equally preferable for all busy families to have their own personal chef.
